Thanks for the summary! I always toy with the idea of getting a subscription to White Dwarf magazine but it never quite seems to entice me.

Hi Blazinghand, the summary is all I can be bothered to write at the moment. I always intend to add a review, but never get around to it. Mostly because I am finding it hard to summarise what I think of the content in a meaningful and short way.

I once had a store subscription, but I stopped it after a year as I decided there was too much of the mag that I wasn't interested in. This was in 2014.

The summary is simple for me to produce, but doesn't tell much of a story.

Nearly half of this magazine is made up of new rules (25%) and filler (YMMV) material (20%). The filler being everything I have listed as Other.

The other fifty percent of the magazine is made up of painting articles and the 40K & AOS 'content'.

This seems to be the new normal for the White Dwarf at the moment, so it is not clear to me who the magazine is meant to appeal to.

If I were to summarise the last two issues I would have said that Games Workshop has turned the White Dwarf into the Visions magazine.
