I've returned to work on the Craftworlds.

Making progress with basecoats and washes on the armor and more basecoats on the underarmor, frilly things on their calves, and headgear.

@magenb: Thanks, I think the Shrine Luminor came out pretty well too  !

Irisado: Thank you, I've got a whole squad of guardians to get through before I move on. Just focusing on the armor mainly at this point until I can acquire some more paints that I need.

Got the armor where I want it for highlights. Paints are on the way for me to begin working on the shuriken catapults and helmets, then start highlighting everything else.

It's all looking so great. I'm really liking the Stonegate color palette so far. I've been so busy in the hotrod world lately but getting lots of models built. Have a nice site Deathguard army now and been assembling the plethora of squigs I have now. But soon will pick up the brush again. Check in on you soon.

THe purply stain on the gold makes it looks almost like some kind of marble, very interesting.

@Dread: Thank you! Glad to hear about the cool stuff you're doing with the hotrods - what a cool hobby and past-time!

@magenb: Thanks! Yeah, I was looking for another way to kind of diversify / make some unique poses. I looked at the storm guardian and defender bitz and I saw that some of the pistol options for Storm Guardians worked with the defender arms that carried their shuriken catapults in one hand!

@Sir_Godspeed: Yeah it turned out pretty well - I like the violet wash, but I am adjusting the thinning ratio to make it neater / more efficient. It's taking some experimenting, but it's getting there!

Red and gold remains one of my favourite colour combinations to this day.  It was the first colour combination that I ever painted.  Thankfully, you're a much better painter than me though, so your figures are coming on very well indeed.  Keep up the good work .

@irisado: Thanks! Yes - I am loving this color scheme a whole lot more than the previous one thus far. I think painting Saim-Hann has converted me maybe permanently to primary red color-schemed armies.

Working on the new lumineth scheme!

Armor established on the Wardens, Stoneguard, and Stonemage. Still needs a little cleanup, but will wait until the other details are brought up to snuff.

Lower robes basecoated - still need to base the robes on the upper torsos next.

Other remaining details like the weapon hafts to come.
