i thought that l337 came from hackers in the early days if the internet, substituting letters for numbers ment that it was harder for people not in the know to fine out what was going on.

www.urbandictionary .com has many definitions of many words used by the youth of today. the posts are made by users and shown in order of the definitions with the most posative ratings. emo has some funny ones.

Why is Owned with a P better other than the fact that there are less vowels?

And a guy at a tourned said it out loud "p-ownd" I asked him what the extra p was for... He didn't know.

Also becuase search engines wouldent pick them up. I.E someone types 'hacker' he wont get sites with 'h4x0r' in them.
