Working on the remaining elements of my mechanicus army. Here are some progress shots of the Lumineth army as well.

It's good to see some more red coming, as that remains my favourite colour.  You have really got a very impressive array of blue, gold, and white though.  These armies are all so impressive.

Thank you, Irisado! Looking to wrap up these few mechanicus units, get some more lumineth done, and start the return to my Aeldari hopefully in August-September timeframe!

Working feverishly on a lot of Ad Mech to get what remains of my force painted and ready for the tabletop.

I am thinking I might invest in some more Ad Mech units sooner rather than later, especially if the dataslate changes are good! Depends on if Aeldari are going to be one of the next codexes coming up here. We shall see!

Also got some reinforcements for the lumineth!

Nice! They're very pretty models and should look great in the colour scheme you're using for this army. How fragile are they though? The entire model seems to rest on a single horse leg, which would have been unthinkable in GW plastics when I last bought them.

Thank you!

So, the dawnriders are sturdier than they look because the horseleg is moulded with that dirt mound that goes onto the base. They aren't separate, but one piece. The fragile thing about dawnriders is absolutely their spears, which are flimsy and prone to breaking if you aren't careful. Usually the ones nearly pointing straight up are the culprits.

The Dawnriders are coming along very well.  Red and gold is always a great combination.

Finished up Celennar save the orange brown fur! I have two paints on the way, but Teclis is next regardless.

There's an indentation on the left wing's joint - is that where Teclis is supposed to go? Can you assemble the model without Teclis at all?

Yeah, that's where Teclis can be joined to Celennar. You do have the option of not assembling him at all if you so chose as well.

That is quite the model.  I particularly like the colour choices that you have made as well.

 8) so cool! Love this model and you're doing it great justice. Will be looking forward to the finished product.

Thank you guys, still have the cloak to work on, but he's at a good enough stopping point that I'm moving on to other unpainted models!

Man, that cloak looks great to me, lol! Also, those wings are great too!

PaxImperator

That's a great model. It may not be the part you're proudest of, but I really like how you've painted the ruins on the base. You've clearly given them more than a simple grey drybrush. The attention you've given them really elevates the rest of the model.

Myen'Tal

Thank you, guys! I also love the way the ruins on the base turned out! Definitely wanted to do this model justice so thought I'd throw in a few extra steps. Took sometime to get him where he is now, but there's a lot more I can do!

Work continues on the Lumineth!
