Hi friends, small progress today.

I bought a third box of las-fusil eliminators (no pictures), which I think will be good fire support. Also, I built and painted a new Phobos Wolfguard.

Looking like I might want play that new Vanguard-Spearhead army of renown, but I can't use my stormspeeder. What do you folks think would be a good way to replace that 160pts? I'm thinking a unit of supressors, and then 60pts of just extra hounds of morkai or infiltrators. Not sure though.

Looking lovely KS. I would like to ask the Phobos trooper how the hood helps him be sneaky though ;)

You're definitely producing a high quality army to be very, very proud of.

I like the first ones pose. He's like " here, check out my cod piece." Good tactical ploy to throw the enemy off. Haha. The guys look great, beautiful paint work. Keep at it.

A hood makes him so much more sneaky! The whole 9' tall, and bulky power armour is completely negated by the hood lol.

Thank you! Power armour cod peices are pretty nice.

Hi Folks, Been busy the last few months, but I have made some progress.

Painted my last two units of Incursors, and I painted up one of the new Gravis captains.

I feel I need to say again how amazing your colour scheme is; it has such a nice balance of warm and cold tones. I could definitely see it being a colour scheme produced by the GW guys.

On top of that, you're executing at such a high level. Outstanding work.

Thanks again everyone for the kind words!

Played my second game with the Wolfspears against Aledari on the weekend. He was new to the book, it was a good practice for getting the army out. My opponent misinterpreted one of his abilities, which had a huge effect on the results of the game, and we didn't realize until afterwards, so we decided not to count it as a win for either of us. It was certainly very fun deploying models all over the board, and then re-deploying with Lords of Deceit. The Captain in Gravis armour was fun to use. With Hunter, he moved 5", advanced d6+2" and then could charge 2d6+2", so he was very fast.

Besides that, I finished my Invictor warsuits. Just have 5 more Reivers, and 3 Eliminators to finish.

great looking board setup and having two painted armies looks awesome :)

Is that table at a store or at a home? I like the setup, room to store reserves and books and stuff.

It's at my buddy's place. The table were originally made to accommodate 6'x4' tables, but put in foam inserts to make it the size for 9th edition games. This has the added bonus of giving a bunch of extra room to store models!

Ah right, I forgot they changed the game size. I felt like the table looked small xD, What was the point size for the game?

Cool board, very GW style in the amount of terrain I feel like. Poor eldar guy, got boxed in really fast during the game it seems. A cool looking Saim Han on that side too.

But yeah like all the other guy's, I have to stress how amazing your color scheme and painting skills look. And once you put everything on the board it just looks amazing. I noticed on the i Victor warsuit, you have a lighter color under the decalco, on the shoulder pads, but barely brighter. How do you do these highlight on the bulbous metal pieces?

Keep up the good work it's a really coming along cleanly.

I boxed him in, but he tabled me in three turns lol. It was a 2000pt game. The pictures were taken after deployment, most of my army can deploy outside of my deployment zone.
