Lost your inspiration for Sisters of Battle?
« on: October 17, 2002, 03:12:17 AM »
Then look at some of these pictures from Elfwood to rekindle your lust to play Sisters of Battle.

First off Jonathan R.Brünner AKA Farseer Brün:

Some cool sisters

A few imperials, SOB among them

A battle sister in a wartorn landscape

Then following up with some pictures from Todd Richard Falk:

Battlesisters making a last stand at their banner
Sister of Battle Novice
A totally sweet Seraphim

*insert nice Latin quote preaching eternal loyalty to the adeptus sororitas and the emperor here...unfortunatly I don't know anything about latin because I would love to have "Forever loyal to the emperor" splashed in big letters on my warbanner....

PS: Sorry if any of the pictures didn't work the first time.

Deathball, the new game of bloody basketball, 40k style!

+++Excerpt from Last Chaos/Space marine game, commentator: Inquisitor Khalheed "The Purgator" Qhor, Ex-Deathball player+++

Chaos vs Space Marine grudgematch today ended 23-19 when Brother Grazieel decimated the chaos team with a heavy bolter.

Afterwards the Chaos Coach Zhuriel the Damned stated "If we weren't ideologically in favor of cheating we'd complain about this""

Great stuff! Brun is always appreciated.

Are the minis with the helmet on available? They are vastly superior to the without models.

They are available. Some of them as regular bolter sisters but the Multimelta sisters model is totally sweet(with the helmet). I've used those heads to covert ALOT of my other sisters to have that helmet(mostly heavy weapons as it's just a weaponswap).

Personally I find the sister of battle helmet totally awesome with that truly gothic yet elegant feel to it and I wish GW(if they ever release a new line of sisters) TRY to raise the number of helmeted sisters.

I looked into it. The minis with the helmets don't look nearly as good as Brun makes 'em look . =D

The Multimelta battlesister is probally one of my favorite models in the game.
Call me crazy but that is the way it is.

Arguments about helmets? I thought they looked ok without 'em.
If SoB could get better ranged support, I'd think about starting a small army. But they don't, so I'm gonna try IG if the plastic guys get out soon.

Plastic Cadians won't be out until this summer.

You can take a unit of IG with the SOB rules...
