I'm glad you stuck it out because that is a badass model! Very well done. The armor plating is fantastic. The purple and blue skirting really adds to its character.

Thank you, Dread!!!

Have a few more steps to go in the clean up phase, but this guy is pretty much complete.

These are looing terrific Myen'Tal! The colour scheme is just right; blue and yellow are classic partners, but the muted tones of the yellow are what sets these models apart imho. The fact they so much more neutral, more earthy, means they don't clash with the blue at all. The addition of purple as a spot colour isn't something I would have thought of in a million years, but again, it just works.

Great stuff mate, I can't wait to see you churn out more. You'll have a stunning battlefield ready force in no time.

Thank you for the compliments, guys :D! Truly appreciated! I have to say, that the difference in my enthusiasm for painting Realm-Lords and Idoneth is like night and day! I've been struggling to get through my deepkin, and at first I thought it was just because I no longer had a drive for painting.

But painting these lumineth for the first time... it was really fun! I think it actually brought out some of the best in my ability like I hadn't truly experienced in a long time.

I think I've found my paint calling in life with these realm lords... even more excited for Tyrion to make his way into AoS!

I hope aeldari will have the same effect for me as the realm-lords!

Thanks, Mage!

I feel you about the transportation, which is why I'll be using a magna rack! It's a magnetic case that'll keep them from shifting.

So a quick update about my situation: My roommates and I have been approved for moving into an actual house to rent out. I getting all of that squared away and will be gearing up for the big move in a couple of weeks!

I plan to create some manner of hobby space for myself, including a dedicated airbrush area.

What's more, I am also planning on creating my own table! No, it won't be handcrafted or anything, I'll be getting an alpha table for mobility and transportation, some mats, and a host of terrain that I plan on complementing with some cool bases for my Lumineth!

Stay tuned as I gear up for that!

Sounds great Myen'Tal! It really makes a nice difference when you can get a hobby area set up for dedicated use.

Those Lumineth are coming along fantastically; I'm glad you have ideas for transport though, because I'm with Mage...carrying those models around would terrify me!

Man that plnkle color on the blades is reaalllyyy eye catching! I love it! A non metallic color and it really works fantastic with the color palette on the models. 8)

Thanks, Dread!

The spearheads are actually somewhat metallic. It's magos purple contrast applied over stormhost silver in the same way you would apply contrast for a gem effect. Start toward the bottom, hold it for a brief moment so that it pools slightly, then drag up the length of the blade. This way less and less paint will reach the blade tip and make the stormhost silver shine through brighter. It makes for a good gradient :).

Finished my six Wardens, almost :P, missed highlighting a robe. Will also do some clean up on the other robes. Other than that though, these are finished!

Very nice! But now you need to do some space elves, hint, hint. Did I say how nice? I really like this scheme. Good thing I have no money or I'd have to get them.

I know, need to acquire some aeldari or drukhari, but I'm trying to get my lumineth table ready as fast as possible.

That said, I might go ahead and acquire a kit or two sometime in September!  ;D

Those wardens are lovely Myen'Tal! Lovely!

When I loaded the page, I only had the head and shoulders of the guy at the top of the page showing and I genuinely thought I'd misclicked to a GW page. The Lightbox makes the images pop so much and really shows off your colour scheme brilliantly.

Simply gorgeous work.

More Wardens on the table!

Almost done with this gal! Just waiting on the crest to dry, then will finish it.

What do you guys think about the slight variation in scheme? It's mainly the trim on the robes and a softer wash on the cuirass.

Edited: Got a second one up to standard, just need to pick out the crest on both of them!
