looking good, I really like the colour you used on min Morathi's wings and spear tip. The dryad scheme is look solid too, sooo many tiny leaves on those things.
Thanks Mage! Glad that you like them. I realize there are few things that I need to fix, I completely forgot about one of Morathi's gauntlets, and some other things could use a second pass.
Other than that, though, I'm not too fussed about how they came out
. I do think I need to learn some patience, however. I keep trying to apply contrast before something is fully dried lol. I'm going to try to do better about that.
Treelord Ancient came out pretty well, I think... would give another coat onto the wood to make it as dark as the kurnoth hunters' wood, maybe change his face paint, and then eventually pick out all the leaves and base.
EDIT
!!!!: So, I just realized that I've officially passed the one year mark since I came back to 40k online, since Looshkin and Cavalier convinced me to start my own painting blog, and since the decision I made to finally dive into the hobby!
I thought I'd take a moment to reflect on what I've done throughout the past year:
Wouldn't be here without the 40k Online community mentoring me in the Art of Brush. Appreciate you guys!!! I feel like I've overcome a lot of challenges, but that I have many more to face and defeat. I don't plan on being a brush master, but I hope to become good enough that I can consistently create what I envision for my armies.
