Does anyone but me think 40k models are highly priced? I cantreally findwhy a 4.5 inch hive tyrant is $45. warhammer 40,000 is an awesome game but should it cost $40,000 every time i want a new model? The fact of the matter is does anyone know a good, cheap, reliable, online 40k retailer?

Well, if you're in the United States or Canada the Warstore (www.thewarstore.com) gives you a discount and has reliable service.  A lot of people are fanboys, and vouch for them vigorously  ;D.

I gotta say it's the warstore.  They provide nice, reliable, prompt service with a discount.  What more can you ask for?

Yep, if you can convince your parents to call and use the old credit card, TheWarStore is the way to go.

"'Enough!' the learned man once more interrupted. 'The cup is overfull, no more will go in!' 'Indeed, I see,' answered the Zen teacher. 'Like this cup, you are full of your own opinions and speculations. If you do not first empty your cup, how can you taste my cup of tea?' "  -Bruce Lee

I also suggest looking around in other model ranges.  Many look similar to GW and a surprizing number of kids toys have the same qualitiy at a much more resonable price.

A friend of mine found a 'Bag-o-buds' at a local KB toystore.  The figures are little gang-land types that fit the GW scale.  40 of them for 8 bucks.  They're now the bulk of a hivegang defense force.  I've seen similar bags-o-zombies and I wouldn't be surprized to see a bag-o-bugs out there.

I think you have to call them in order to order.  And that they say they have everything, so you just call and say you want a something-or-other, and there you go.  You can request a catalog be sent to you at: http://www6.mailordercentral.com/thewarstore/Inforequest.asp .  At least, this is how I THINK it works!!
