Finally finished building, and now have the basecoat on this chap, now for some serious detailing!

Aww come on now, that's just obscene, puts most the stuff I wish I could put out to shame.

All in all though, good stuff, always nice to see a Capital Imperialis grace a table.

Hello all,

There are far too many great armies here for me to comment on so I'll just say "Wow!" and add my own to the mix.  I'm working on a small Rebel Grots army starting with an allied force for my Orks and planning to expand into a full sized force as I find the time.  So far I have two Infantry Squads finished with CCS, PCS, and some tanks in progress.  Here's the two infantry squads, each with a Lascannon team:
[smg id=4768 type=preview align=center caption="First Gretchin Infantry Squad"]
[smg id=4769 type=full align=center caption="Lascannon 1"]
[smg id=4770 type=preview align=center caption="Second Infantry Squad"]
[smg id=4771 type=full align=center caption="Lascannon 2"]

And a pair of Basilisks with removable Earthshaker platforms:
[smg id=4772 type=preview align=center caption="Two Basilisks"]
[smg id=4773 type=full align=center caption="Basilisk detail"]

And finally, the Leman Russ with Battle Cannon and Exterminator Autocannon options:
[smg id=4774 type=full align=center caption="Leman Russ"]

I still have a lot of detail work on the tanks before they're ready for paint, but they've been a lot of fun to work on so far!

The Tank is looking great Col! Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing it leading your Praetorians into battle.

A start to my new 40th Corp supply company.

Carolean 232nd Rifles. Colonel Augustus Horn is in charge of the Caroleans over seeing the resupply of the 40th Corps wherever it is needed. They have already seen action in some shadowy inquisitional wars between my two  inquisitors.

I recently finished my Tanith First and Only army and wanted to show my love to the 40th corps. Having enough models left over, I am making a platoon for the 40th as well as a Primaris Pysker (from the old Genestealer models). The last squad will be a squad of Salvar Chem Dogs attached as a Penal legion squad. This will allow me to try new options that I haven't had the opportunity to play since i focused on my Tanith.

Record:                                    W/L/D
Jar'kia Sept:                                  5/6/3
Tanith 1st:                                    2/0/2

Fantastic stuff here as always.

I'm looking to revamp my collection soon, once this rumoured new codex comes out.  And by revamp I really mean rebuild, since I sold them all to fund a trip.  :P

I'm a loyalist again too.  No traitor guard here.

That is the bee's knees, full stop.  Using old Grots and then Night Goblins was already great, having a coppertop cell in there crowns it.

Awesome work guys as ever.  :D

Me though, I'm calmly and impatiently waiting for the new Codex before doing any Guard themed modeling.   :P

With the new codex comming out I made myself a new commander. I find some legs that my cavalry left behind so I was good to go.

Nice! Is that the Tactical Auto-Reliquary of Tyberius?

After being away for a rather silly amount of time, I bring photos of my recently repainted IG.

Firstly:
Red Section, A Platoon, 1st Company, 3rd Battalion, 405th Armoured Infantry Regiment

The Sections Corporal:

The pair of LMG gunners (count as lasguns still):

A random Guardsman:

The grenade launcher guy reloading:

And Now  (a not quite finished) Leman Russ MBT in B Sabre Squadron, 2 Troop, 181st Stygian Armoured Regiment:

Thanks!  The Rebel Grots' "Dakkacel" technology has proven very reliable!

I haven't been posting here but I have been putting a lot of work into the Rebel Grots.  I'll try to start thread to show them off some time.  For now, here's the Armored Sentinel squadron I'm currently working on.  I'm refurbishing some models I picked up on ebay:

Tournament's coming up, I took advantage of it and built a new squad, a new Lord Commissar, and stripped, converted, and repainted two more squads... all in less than a week. After some work on the tanks, I think I'm done painting for a couple weeks.

PAINT ALL THE MODELS!
