Looking for some ideas for basing
« on: April 30, 2019, 04:55:04 AM »
So I'm churning out an alternate blood ravens scheme but I'm kind of stumped on basing ideas.

I was thinking a cracked earth with some stones and the odd tuff of grass. Colour wise I was thinking a zandry dust base with a bone dry brush. Given the shoulder pads and cloaks are zandry dust with a bone on top would it be too much cream/bone?

Would I be better off doing a dark black/grey earth/rock/rubble for the basing instead?

Personally, I think your Raven Guard would stand out much more without a grey\urban\dark base.

I like your idea to create some cracked earth. I think if you could pull off a desert base, that'd be absolutely fantastic. Which, knowing you Mage, you'll make it look easy!
