What song reminds you of YOUR army?
« on: June 27, 2003, 09:24:30 PM »
Well, what song reminds your of your army? For my Daemonhunters I can't help but think of the when I hear 'Not Falling' by Mudvayne. And for my Harlequins I think of them when I hear basicly anything Linkin Park, because they usually sing about stuff the Harlequins are there for kind of. Anyway, might seem like an odd post but fire away!

Hmmm........How about any one of "They Might Be Giants" songs. They are all horrible, much like my army.

I only own a SW army, but these songs remind me of other armies, and 40K characters:

Imagrant By Led Zepplin= Space Wolves

My favorite drug= Emporers Children

Bohemian Rhapsody= Blood Angels ...reminds me of Sanguinies's heroic death.

Du Hast by ramstein= Kharn the Betrayer

Little Busters by the pillows (from FLCL)= Wolf Lord Beowulfs Broken fangs (my army)

Chop Suey= Dark Angeles (well, duh!)

I'll post summore later

Well, Necrons, Birth of the Wicked by Iced Earth reminds me of the C'tan (just listen to the words, they are basically talking about the C'tan). Also We Are The Robots by, uhh, some techno band. Can't rember the name (kraft something. Kraftwurks I think).

And for 'quins something really weird and unexpected.

Sk8er Boi by Ms. Lavigne (or how ever the hell you spell it).

You see it's weird because I don't listen to that kind of music at all (death metal all the way! ;D) but my sister used to. She was playing it in the car, so my mind started to wonder and all of a sudden, that song started to play and I saw Harlequins running up the battle field towards CSM and punching Kisses through there eye pieces and stuff. It was really cool. ;D
Also Linkin Park works too (athough they are of the acursed Nu Metal kind, they are alright :P).

Sk8r Boi... that statement you made will haunt my dreams forever... j/k. I sort of see what you mean, but I still hate the song.

My Eldar, normally I would say "No leaf Clover" by Metallica.

But the way my Dice rolls have gone in the last few battles I am beginning to think "Another one bites the dust" by Queen.

Blasphemy, as speaking out we've asked for it, for more of the same
Sad scheme, of ghettos created by the power elite, for our minds and souls burning
No longer for freedom invoked just more of the same.

Um.. I don't have any song for my army... BUT!  I do have a song for Valhallas Imperial Guards.
I think Im someday going to do a army with them. Painting them grey and red and calling them Red Guards on the planet of Sovjetia.
Well, atleast I have a song for them:
Russian National Anthem. Preformed by Red Army Chior.

The perfect song for da boyz?
Ready to Die by Andrew W.K.

the lyrics for the song;

This is your time to pay,
This is your judgement day,
We made a sacrifice,
And now we get to take your life.

We shoot without a gun,
We'll take on anyone,
It's really nothing new,
It's just a thing we like to do.

You better get ready to die,
You better get ready to kill,
You better get ready to run,
Cause here we come,
You better get ready to die!

Your life is over now,
Your life is running out,
When your time is at an end,
Then it's time to kill again,
We cut without a knife,
We live in black and white,
Your just a parasite,
Now close your eyes and say good-night.

You better get ready to die,
You better get ready to kill,
You better get ready to run,
Cause here we come,
You better get ready to die!
Get ready to die!
Get ready to die!

all that set to a very happy-go-lucky beat. it's perfect!
A WAAAGH! is forming.......

'You fools! You can't kill what's already dead!'
