1500pts genestealer cults list

HQ: hierarch, limo, eight bodyguards, eight shotguns. 67pts

Troops: four * fifty initiates, fifty autopistols, close combat weapons. 200 (800) pts

Elites: twelve genestealers. 192pts

Fast Attack: two * six bikers, acolyte, seven bolters, carapace. 122 (244) pts

Heavy support: two * heavy weapon squad, autocannon, heavy bolter, mortar. 95pts

1493pts

do you reckon this list would be able to compete against dark eldar and nids, ( my main opponents)

n that case you can do well with this. I mean, as long as you are not facing pieplates and flamers from apcs you should be able to do ok. Of course, if you face something with heavy armour (like landraider-borne deathwing) you are going to struggle. The DE could possibly stay out of your reach and keep peltering you, but you might be able to cut them off. Nids should be fine unless they bring too many big monsters. Nidzilla-lists ill stomp through you as you have too little with heavy hitters.

I fielded my stealer cults in a 2000pt team battle i had did added in three land raiders. (i'm going to post a bat rep on it ) and it was a crushing defeat, but if my ally had done anything except mill around the corner we would would have stood a better chance. i took two tac squads with me. but fell to his devy squads when in the open.

i was allowed to field my cult in a huge game 4000pts a side so i fielded two 50 man init squads, a patriarch and retinue, a leman russ and a comrade squad with lascannon.

but i had huge problems both my 50 man squads ran off first turn and i was left with a russ one lascannon and a patriarch.

do you have any idea's what i could change to make my list more viable in game?

Also dp you think a cannoness would a cannoness make a good magus?
