Maintenance completed...
« on: December 8, 2009, 02:14:01 AM »
Our system has been updated.
All features SHOULD be present and functional.

At this time, I had to switch back to the default/baseline theme because there were so many changes that the previous design no longer worked. In the next few days, I will be re-building our nice, black theme...  however, the current white/blue theme will probably continue to be available for users, even after I switch the froum default back to the classic, dark theme.

actually i dont really mind this theme. Is there an option to fiddle around with the colors?

Thanks for all the hard work!

Please do! I like this white/blue theme a lot! Nice job on the update.

don't be rude V3ng3ance, Kindred is doing the best he can.

Kindred don't rush yourself, take as much time as you need.  I'm willing to bet that in the end as long as this site is up and running the majority of people don't really care what it looks like as the importance of this site is the connections and discussions made in the various threads.

Peace

It's clean and easy to read/navigate.

I don't like how generic it is, but that will change.  There will be a back ground image and icons and such again.

Wow, I had a bit of shock, having not logged in all day!

I remain uncertain about the colour, and squares instead of stars is going to get a bit of getting used to, but I am very impressed with speed at which you have carried out the maintenance Kindred, and having a functioning forum is by far the most important thing, so thank you for your speed and efficiency  :).

EDIT: One feature I definitely like, that I've just noticed, is that locked threads are in italics, and on a different shade of blue.  I think this is definitely a good feature, so I hope that's here to stay.

EDIT 2: Corrected bad grammar.

I like don't like the new layout. Thow I dislike the current colours. The compination of light orange, blue, and white makes my eyes hurt. too maby bright colours.
>.<

I keep clicking the wrong buttens because of it. lol

I look forword to the re-colour.

Edit: For got to type don't....

I like this brighter background as well.
I thought the previous one was a bit clunky...a lack of a better word for it.

Excellent job, although the forum was down for my whole afternoon . . .  :(

I did prefer the icons for the boards though. I dont mind the colour scheme.

Keep up the good work.

Also missing the background.

lol I cant see how anyone likes this color scheme... its WAY to bright (but then again Im looking at it on a 52in plasma hdtv :P )

Great work on the maintenance, and take your time with the follow-up, its better to make sure its perfect than to rush, and I think we can handle the brightness for alil longer ;)

While I miss the background, the non-black background is a bit refreshing (a bit of an easier read IMO). Great job on the work, and I'm glad to see this theme will remain an option in the future (although it is bland).

Gotta agree with you across the page.  It was a quick and clean update, though the custom paint job was indeed quite removed...

We appreciate the work you do around here kindred (and I will look the other way if you need to....round things out a bit so that Starky's last comment remains true)

Yeah, we really appreciate all the hard work you do around here, kindred. or at least, most of us do.

I admit the bright theme is a little hard to read properly though.
We passed upon the stairs. He spoke of was and when. Although i wasn't there, he said i was his friend. which came as a surprise

I spoke into his eyes "I thought you died alone, a long long time ago."

He laughed "Oh no, not me, we never lost control, you're face to face, with the man who sold the world"
