well,
here's another of my lists.
HQ:
Force Comander, power weapon, bolt pistol, frags and melta bombs = 82pts
Librarium, power weapon, bolt pistol, frags = 77pts
ELITE:
9 veterens, ccw & bolt pistols, 1 meltagun = 172pts
Rhino, smoke launchers, extra armour = 58pts
TROOPS:
5 marines, 1 lascannon = 90pts
5 marines, 1 missle launcher = 85pts
7 marines, 1 missle launcher, 1 flamer
Veteren seargent = 136pts
TOTAL: 700pts
well,
the force commander rides with the veterens, and the librairum goes with the bigger tactical squad.
so far they've done me very well,
the two 5 man squads are for fire support,
and depending upon the scerario or my opponet,
the bigger tactical squad will either be deployed as fire support but just about 6" ahead of the other 2 squads.
Or they'll just advance behind the rhino.
the first way did me very well against my friends eldar army,
where i destroyed any mager threats before the could reach me (wraithlord and disarming the falcon)
whilst my rhino zoomed around the flank then the rear of the eldar army,
which is when the my veterens bulldozed through about 10 guardians (well, they all couldnt get in base contact) which led to them falling back and the rest of them getting cross fired.
whilst this was going on,
my librarium and his friends were beating some Hawks out of the sky. Which resulted in them falling back as well, and with their impresive 3d6 fallback distance, they too got cross fired by my rhino
well long story slightly shorter,
i managed to cross fire 3 fairly expensive units,
which put a fairly big smirk on my face,
actrully i just ened up laughing at my friends misfortrune
anywho,
what do you guys think of it?
I've still got 3 bikes, a tactical squad and an assualt squad to paint up.
