2000pnt codex(for now) rhino rush list

So ive been playing with an infiltrating mostly infantry list lately and my usual opponent keeps destroying me with eldar so ive desided to try things a little differently from here on. Since infiltraters aren't getting enough shots off before he charges me im moving my guys back and attempting something of a rhino rush strategy, here the list, o and im not gooing with traits for now but if any seem to be useful im open to ideas.

HQ:
Epistolary
   terminator amour, storm bolter, fury of the ancients      (154)

Terminator Command Squad         
             5 terminators, x2 assault cannons            (240)

Dreadnought

Tactical Squad I

I would switch the 6es for the 10s and switch the Rhinos for Razorbacks. And put 2 men back into the Dev squad. (2x8man Laz/plaz, 2x6 man flamer rush guys, and a 10 man Dev)

This is not so much Rush as 2x6 man counter assault squads.

You can rush them up one flank with the 2 Vindicators between them.  No one will know what to shoot at :)

thanks for the input but let me get this right, you want me to assault with few guys and put lots of guys out of range to shoot? Maybe its just me but i always thought it was best to assault with alot of guys or at least get alot into bolter range oppossed to having alot of guys back w/ only one heavy weapon w/ it being the only gun in range? again this might just be the way Ive always been suggested but this is a new tactic for me and im not seeing the advantage

No, you are right, according to the min max theory.  But then you put a flamer in a 6 man min/max squad!

If you really want to do rush you could leave the 2 Rhino squads and find some points to put the 6 man squads into the razorbacks.  But for sure this squad "Tactical Squad III  6 marines, heavy bolter, flamer" doesn't work and would do better with a razorback and a PF.
