I See A Bad Moon Rising

Their back!  The new Gloomspite Gitz book was preorder today, and a battle report revealed some sneak peaks of the new rules, and I must say I’m very impressed so far.  My years of patience and working at the Gitz is about to pay off!  ;D

I'm curious to see what they do. My Gitz have been sitting on the shelf for a few years now and I'm not likely to dust them off soon, but I do hope they get a boost! Glad to hear troggoths are getting better, at any rate. Hopefully the same goes for the huge spiders.

Judging from the Goonhammer reviews - the faction has received quite the glow-up since their second edition tome.

Some of their rules look pretty nasty to deal with - in addition to being able to bringing back waves and waves of goblins.

I am interested to see how they do in players' hands as well.

So, are the Gitmobs part of the army book, or are they sort of a separate thing, or are they with the generic orruks? I can never quite wrap my head around where AoS divides armies.

Gitmobs are now a couple of wolf riding units contained within the Gloomspite Gitz book.  And they’re actually quite viable!

Well myself, probably won't get new book. Models yes, been collecting night goblins since 5th. Just got the squigalanche box,  ;D , excited about building them. As for rest, I'm a purist so nothing but night gobbos for me. As for playing, maybe someday with them but my nighthaunt is my main.

Interesting! I never quite know if something will be expanded into its own army, a semi-army (like Spider Grots) or just quietly phased out, so it's a bit hard to keep an eye on from the outside.

I wonder what the large-scale move is here. Are they reducing the presence of steppe/badlands-style goblins because the Kruleboyz are seen as filling a similar thematic niche, or are they getting ready to revamp something akin to hobgoblins behind scenes, or are there no major plans? Iunno!

I think they are trying to make more money on something they have little to release for. I have a book. Since it was released. Been used, well, none, other to look at the pretty pics. I have the new boss on pre order but that's it. Just night gobbos and squigs and trolls. Still hard to call the gloomspite.

Have they released any other kinds of goblins lately? Seems like Night gobbos are the future of, uh, gobbokind.
