Title: Fantasy grows!
Post by: Rasmus on October 10, 2005, 02:30:40 AM
In an effort to encourage and better help the fantasy-players of this site the fantasy-boards have split and grown over the last few days. Where once there was just one board there are now five. This will result in a period with a lot of digging until the forums "grow into their own" but we hope that this will help the fantasy-players to contribute and learn more here than was possible before.
The fantasy-board was originally created after a lot of fantasy-threads started filling non-40k gaming, and deserved its own board. This step is the natural progression, we felt.

Not anymore, actually...the rules against spam are only applied more strictly to posts in old threads.
Blanket-anti-threadomancy-rules are simply pointless.

Oh? I didn't know we'd changed that. Must have been while I was gone. Umm, sorry FlyingSpoon, but this an old thread.

I believe we've shifted it say that things still on the first page are still fair game, since they're not really bumping anything else off.  Still we do advise against posting in long dead threads without having something incredible to add to the debate.

It wouldn't even have to be some groundbreaking stuff...just very clearly not spam and useful to others.
