    Welcome to the Eldar Craftworlds!
Here you can read about general guidelines for posting on the board.

Guidelines for posting on the Eldar board:

Welcome to the Eldar.  For all of you would-be contributors, here are some guidelines and rules for posting. Please take the time to read them before you post.

All of the normal 40K Online forum rules apply. Please read them before making your first post.

Please post all Eldar army lists (including Eldar armies with allies) in this board.  Dark Eldar army lists (including Eldar allies) and Harlequin army lists (including Eldar allies) need to be posted in the Dark Eldar board and Harlequin board respectively.

Read the other army posts, someone may have already posted a list like yours and you will get an idea about how people tend to view some choices.

Make sure your list is legal. Please check that you have taken the right choices to comply with the way to play and army type that you have chosen, and that wargear and upgrades are right.

Tell us the type of opponents you plan to fight or if you want a balanced take-on-anyone style army, as it will affect any advice that you are given. Also, include how many points and, if possible, what scenario you are playing.

Tell us how experienced you are. It makes a difference in giving advice if we know whether you are a new or an experienced player.

Respect the opinions and ideas of everyone else. Please keep things civil and provide only constructive criticism. Instead of slamming someone's army list or strategy and tactics, help them to make it better. If you get nasty with each other, expect to be moderated.

Please keep your army lists comprehensible and legible. Sometimes it is very hard to read 'internet speak' and makes it difficult to reply. Save the bad grammar for MSN, AIM and other instant messaging services.

Post topics that makes sense. Avoid posting topics like "1000 pts - help!" or "Saim Hann", but rather "1000 pts Iyanden against Tyranids" or "Saim Hann for a Newbie", so that people can know what they are getting into before opening and reading the thread.

Please do not ask for a roster to be made for you. Some members will make lists for you, but it is generally better to have a list ready. After all, you are going to be playing with the list, so you need to make it.

(HM) & (NM). It can be useful if people know if you have the models (HM) or if you need to buy the models (NM).

Please make sure you read all the replies before you post. It can often result in flaming if someone posted before reading all the replies, as they sometimes miss an answer to a question, or a revised army list.

There is an existing stickied thread for posting pictures of your army. Please visit the thread here, rather than starting a new one.
