Clans
« on: November 22, 2007, 08:26:36 AM »
I recently realised the few ork armies I've seen, have all been speed freaks, mostly coz they are so powerful.

I figure the new codex will probably axe clan rules (since GW have axed Chaos legions and Craftworlds) and instead find some general way to have clans, I got wondering.

Will anyone here try to build a themed Ork clan now that you would have less restrictions.  I personally think I may build a Snakebite or BLood Axe Clan, since I've always liked the fiction behind them.

yeah, its pretty much confirmed that they are ditching clans :(

however, you can still make them out of the army list, by just piecing together what the ideal clan army would look like

be that maxing out on lootas, flash gitz, boyz, or trukks + buggies, or kommandoz

however... snakebites seem to have bitten the curb..

Yes and no. Convert looted wagons and trukks into boar-drawn chariots, make sure you have at least one wierdboy, and avoid dreads and mega armour.

The overall effect should be somewhere between goff and evil sun
