Thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna go read that lore now.

I want that Squig boss at all costs!

This is the most tempting boxed set to date, for sure. If only I had something to do with the Sylvaneth...

Sell them to someone, or stick them on eBay? That's what I've done with wake the dead, shadowspear, and Carron empire. I wanted one of the halves, and sold the other half.

Yeah, I don't have anyone interested in playing Sylvaneth to give them to, so I'm down to selling on EBay (which is kinda a pain) or seeing if I can get one of my daughters interested (unlikely).

Basically, it comes down to whether or not I actually want that Loonboss on Squig model badly enough to put up with the rest of that. Signs are pointing to no.

Sigh... Looncurse got announced just after I ordered some Slaanesh stuff. Nothing much, a few HQs, the terrain piece, and the warscroll cards... that said, I might need to pick up two of the Sylvaneth halves before they sell out :P.

It's definitely a fantastic deal. I am really thankful I got the carrion empire Skaven half, what a great price.

It’s proving difficult to find someone to go halvers with on with this set.  I’m probably going to have to eBay the boss and pay an inflated rate.  :P

Actually, if I bought a set myself, and kept the Moonclan side, think I could make a good chunk of it back from the tree side?  :D

Well, pretty much both halves are worth more than the whole box on its own, so any money you make back is a saving. Even getting a half on eBay for like $80-100cnd is a huge savings from retail.

Well, I'm trading in my Slaanesh stuff with a friend, Syll'Esske, the Masque, terrain piece, and warscroll cards for some Sylvaneth. Bought two halves of the Sylvaneth Looncurse box too!

Looks like I have a new army!

Absolutely huge reveals today! I cannot wait to test out these contrast paints and learn new t err techniques with them.

I have a huge pile of Namarti and Witch Aelves. Saving time by being able to base and shade in one go, is awesome. You really can just focus on highlighting at that point. Also contrast seems like it's going to be good for blending too.

Love the sororitas, and the Mechanicus transport / tank is just the greatest!

Also, chaos knights look great, but not enough that I really like knights, Haha.
