We have added a new, interactive feature to the system:

The Quiz link is in the navigation menu (it's been live for over a week, and only 5 people seemed to have noticed and/or used it).

Loving the new quiz section, I failed the observation round when noticing the new link

Is there an easy way to make quiz's? I feel a 40 quiz coming on if there is.

The easy general knowledge quiz involved the birth place of some obscure female English author from a previous century......

Anything with a type in answer is also a bugger if you can't spell quickly and correctly. Blew many a question on that front.

I generally skip those one, as they are often very obscure. I have been guessing a lot on the questions, hoping to get some right. I think easy/hard depends on how well people have been doing on them. If everyone gets terrible scores, then it's hard for example.

I made a quizz and uploaded it for review, ~~do you have to enable it or do I do it somewhere else?~~

EDIT: forget that I just saw the text stating that an administrator will enable it.

Might have been a bit harsh in hindsight. It would be good if it was possible to try the quizzes before submitting them...

Not in the least, I just have an unhealthy addiction to quizzes

On the subject of the quizzes, I rather like this new feature, and I'll have to see if I can write some of my own when I get a spare moment. Thanks for adding this feature

Screwed in three quizzes as it wouldn't accept 12 compared to twelve and due to spelling. Ah well, such is life.

I found some of the movie quizzes hilarious and crap due to the fact that all questions were usually taken from like four films, honestly it should have been called the "Legally Blond Monster's Inc Ice Age Bambi quizz" or something, not "Movie trivia quizz"... Not to mention the movies of the eighties quizz which basically was Breakfast Club and Dirty Dancing.

Yes, some of those free answer quizzes need to accept variations on different correct answers.

On the Easy General Knowledge Quiz 4, it refused to except the correct spelling of the Spanish word as being the correct answer because I actually bothered to use the tilde... I think that I should have been awarded an extra point for that, not penalised

That's probably because most people (perhaps even the creator of the quiz) don't even know what a tilde is, much less how to type it out. And even if they did, it's kind of a pain to press "Alt+161" just to get "í"

A few of the quiz's are also broken within. One I recently did defaulted the answer with the question. "What is X?" "Wrong - it's X" which wasn't an option. Others suffer from topographical errors where the question is cut short and so forth. To be expected when it's all fan driven rather than from the QI Elves.
