The 40kOnline Forum Awards 2007: Most Civil Debater Nominations
« on: December 2, 2007, 01:50:13 PM »
The 40kOnline Forum Awards 2007.

See the above for the rules and specifics of the Forum Awards, and use the linked thread for general questions.

Make your nominations for the Most Civil Debater here in this thread or through PMing me (though clearly title it so I can easily tell what it's about). The only limit is that you can not nominate the previous winner, who in this case was Doktor Rummy.

~MTWC

Only one nomination per person please. Cheers. - Rummy

Because spamming the hotkey for a Deathknight's weapon in WoW is precisely the same as learning to use a sword in real life. That's why when Kendo grandmasters fight, they just stand there shouting keystroke combos at each other.

I nominate Tryanotherone. Occupying us with many topics this entire year.
If you go to this link I have a made a craftworld-kabal battle system that needs ironing out and testing. If you have any edit suggestions, please PM me or post in the thread.

I nominate Small-Furry-Spider as he has been fighting what is almost a one man battle in some threads and still keeps his message calm.

I second Spider.

May 2027: 40K 8th edition is released. The rules are now so simple that they embody the perfect emptiness of zen, accidentally causing thousands of players to become one with the universe.

June 2027: Someone complains on a message board that the 8th edition 40K rules, while the path to true enlightenment, do not feature realistic armour saves.

FMG.

So civil it borders disgust... LOL

I'll second that.
"... of the liberty of conscience in matters of religious faith, of speech and of the press; of the trail by jury of the vicinage in civil and criminal cases; of the benefit of the writ of habeas corpus; of the right to keep and bear arms... If these rights are well defined, and secured against encroachment, it is impossible that government should ever degenerate into tyranny."

Also, don't forgot the General Awards, which includes: Funniest Member, Best Local Mod and the Kijayle Commemorative Award for Acid Wit.

Nominations are as follows:

Tryanotherone [1], Small-Furry-Spider [2], Full-Metal Geneticist* [4]

* - This must be some new definition of the word civil that I am unfamiliar with ;).

~MTWC

It's civil in the same manner as civil engineering so meaning someone completely unyielding until the point of total collapse - Rummy  ;)

Yup, just making sure there's no problems in the nominations (typos and the like) first.
