Summary:
Tiim Välimaa

After weeks of talking about showing us his stuff, here's Tiim's incredible miniatures!

Name:

Tiim Välimaa

From:

Copenhagen, Denmark

Play:

a bit 40k, Necromunda and RPG

Collect

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING!

Well I started gaming/painting when Nercromunda was released, and i was quite shaken by how cool WD minis looked so I set out to get my own minis to look as cool as how 'Eavy Metal painters painted theirs.

I've always been painting the more "girl-ish" and elegant models, wich include Eldar, Eschers, Sisters of Sigmar and battle, there's just something about a tiny Howling Banshee cutting a giant Space Marine to pieces.

The Eldar Army:

A long, long time ago I decided on playing Alaitoc mainly because of the symbol (the sword) but also because of the fluff. I really like the feel of the fast and sneaky army. At first I went for the normal blue with yellow offset and painted a couple of guardian squads in those colours. Later on I changed the colours to blue and bone instead just to be a little unique.
The colours might look easy and straight forward, but every single colour has at the least 5 highlights, blends, and inks. I usually convert all of my models, going from simple head/weapon swap to more complicated convertions like the WL.
All in all I don't get to play much because I spend so much time making the models and I really dont like playing with unfinished armies but on the up side, almost all of my Eldar models for my army have won compititions.

40Konline thanks Tiim very much for his many photos, and we look forward to seeing more of his work!
