hi i need help casting a mold.... i thought of creating a slaneesh anointed with clear weapons and sheild.... i was going to use resin... please help.

First of all, use legos to build a frame for your mold. They are very easy to use, and when you're done you can just take them apart. There is a full article here: http://www.starshipmodeler.com/basics/jc_molds.htm

clear resin is an absolute pain in the arse to get looking good, bubbles stand out a mile, so the resin needs to be degassed after mixing and poured VERY carefully... for small things like weapons you shouldnt have to worry about shrinkage and the resulting poor surface finish... before buying and resin, check with the manufacturer what type of silicone you'll need for it, certain clear resins need special types of silicones... if you need any specific help, feel free to email or PM...
