Hey, our local GW is running a tourney based on the "Warhammer in a Flash" rules outlined in whatever WD that was. Anyway, basically I just need help building a 500 point Lizardmen force with those rules. Can anybody make an army list suggestion?

How does this "FB ina flash" work? I mean... 500 points makes it impossible to field a legal TK-army... You nedc both a Prince and Priest, and that's almost 300 points right there....

I wish I could tell you the exact rules. But you can look them up in WD #288 (Questing Knights on the cover).

Anyway, I broke one of the rules making that hero so burley. Thanks for noticing Bathory. Here is the new list, with more Saurus.

Saurus Scar-Veteran/Charm of the Jaguar/Great Weapon/Light Armor 111

12x Skink Skirmishers/Javelins/Scouts 84

15x Saurus Warriors/Spears/Full Command 240

Salamander Hunting Pack 65

I didn't know I was allowed to tell him that  :)

The rules are actually very well written, and the games are very fun!

My other post dissapeared, this boards being a pain in the ass lately

looks good, you'll be outnumbered by skaven and orks but the sallie and the skinks will whittle them down if you roll well.  use the skinks to take out rock throwers if they have any, those will screw you over very easily

I was told I had to have two core units, but the minimums are half in Flash. So I made a few changes. Also told it was dumb to have the hero alone, so I took out a saurus, and threw him in the unit.

Saurus Scar-Veteran/Shield/Great Weapon/Light Armor 93

5x Skink Skirmishers/Javelins/Scouts 36

5x Skink Skirmishers/Javelins/Scouts 36

15x Saurus Warriors/Spawning of Sotek/Spears/Full Command 260

Salamander Hunting Pack 65

If it will help here is my Lizardman boarder patrol force (Its got a different name in England) and my strategies for using them, you more experienced players can mock me all you want for my probably rubbish list but hey I normally win so there. P.S please do not just use this as an excuse to mock me.

Saurus Scar-Veteran/shield/light armor/Bane Head/Charm of the jaguar warrior   124 pts

15 Saurus warrriors/hand weapon and shield/ full command    210 pts

16 Skink Skirmishers/hand weapon/ blow pipe    96 pts

Salamander hunting pack    65 pts

My favourite tactic is to put the Scar-Veteran inside the Saurus warrior unit and when the opponent is least suspecting it use his 9 movement to engage hopefully the enemy hero and because of the bane head you should have no trouble defeating him, whilst this is going on the saurus warriors should be holding up your opponents main block of infantry and you skinks and salamander should take out enemy war machines and any other small and isolated units. or alternatively if your facing Skaven or Night Goblins or any other force with lots of blocks of infantry then they should obviously be employed to protect your Sauruses flanks.

You're about a month late, but you posted something valuable to the topic, so I'll allow it. Be careful in the future though.
