Travelling Paints

  • I am wondering, I am goign to go to Florida in a few days, and I wanna take my paints with me (I wanna pick up a Gundam Model there and see how the model compares to good old WH40K, then post it at a forum to show off) And I was wondering if, like tooth paste, there are issues with Paints goin from one altitude to another. I live in Colorado, just to say how big this change of altitude will be.

So, will my paints explode? Or it it not applicable to them?

  • Well I took my paints on a plane trip and the only think was some of it leaked a lil because i didn't close one well enough...

If it didn't have a chemical reaction from being in a plane that high it shouldn't matter if you go to florida with them(unless it takes time?).

BTW I dont think this matters either but the paints were citadel acrylics. You might also get more help if you put this in the painting forum?

  • No they shouldn't do anything. I fly from England to Australia and back again several times a year and nothing happens to my paints at all.
