The rough theme of this army is that Illic has setup to bait the enemy into attacking a conventional Aeldari ground force patrolling through the zone. When engaged, rangers unveil themselves, the skies erupt with Hawks, reapers emerge from the webway and a hunter screams from the heavens. Well, the Crimson Hunter starts on the board, but just imagine the scream.

11 units start on the board, 10 units deploy in reserve. The avengers deploy as a loose screen around the two prisms with the Hunter in the rear and the psykers huddled in the middle. The rangers come in further out to spoil potential first turn deep strikes, and the Hawks and reapers come in on the first turn.

The Avengers and Hawks buddy team around the map, with the Avengers killing things within 18" and the Hawks pushing those kills further out to keep the enemy beyond rapid fire and charge range. Their aim is to overwhelm splinters of the enemies infantry then bottle the remainder up in their deployment zone. I imagine that Hawks synergize really well with Avengers, and between them they could pop 40 guardsmen or 20 marines in a round of shooting.

The reapers and psykers stay clustered together, with the reapers getting most of the buffs and staying within range of the farseer to utilise forewarned.

Swapping out the fire prisms for crimson hunters are an obvious choice for a list like this as the Prisms are slightly more vulnerable to ranged fire, but I really like the theme of having a conventional force element, and with 8 CP available after webway strike, a prism can benefit from lightning fast reactions and linked fire while the other hides out of LoS.
