Tau this year, with a due sense of trepidation.

I fully expect to see an army with no less than 4 tetras from you... I'm still not convinced of this. After the pounding my Tau got from you the last time we played (I mean, who would have thought that 20 fire warriors, 10 kroot and an ionhead COULDN'T kill ten Sisters of battle??) I'm all open for seeing you do what I couldn't!!!

Yep 4 tetras are in my list  ;D
Toying with a 4 or two 2's at the mo.
Im bringing a rather left field list so it may take a few by surprise, or may fall flat on its face.
These are my thoughts and opinions.

i am looking at either Saim Hann or SoB depending on my mood.

However, everything about Tarrin is unfair and should be sanctioned with extreme prejudice.

The Globals have issued a 2:1 ruling that yes, yes everything about Tarrin is indeed unfair. We have also been sullied merely by contemplating this.

Looks like no-one else has declared for the Dark Eldar yet, so maybe I should bring them. Certainly has the advantage that I've already got enough painted and ready to go.  I do like Tau though and the tournament is a good excuse to buy/paint more.

Decisions, decisions...

Spanking greg 3 times in one day has swung the wolves into favour then? Lol.

For the record mutley will change his mind at least a dozen times before the event!
And if the new CCSM comes out prior to the gig it will immediately surplant all others as his first choice.

Greg will be bringing one of 14!!! Yes that's 14 lists with him, which similarly will be surplanted by CCSM as with mutley!

You guys think you've got decisions to make!!!!!! Lmfao!

I'll be back with my non-mech Guard all going well, I may have to try an give myself a hangover to test if last year was just an uncharacteristic fluke, or if alcohol actually improves generalship. ::)

Too many armies to choose from- I guess I'll go with whichever one is closest to fully painted when the day arrives...

I'm going to (hopefully) bring something other than Tyranids this year.

Dramatic Chipmunk

Probably Dark Eldar if I can get them together in time.

Progress report.

Tickets will be going on sale very soon. You will be able to buy them through Triple Helix Wargames and I will let you all know as soon as they go on sale.

Perhaps bigger news is that g00gle5 has finally shared his proposals to make this tournament truly unique. It has nothing to do with special missions, sullied victories or interesting scoring changes. We've discussed things and they have the potential to change the way you experience this, and future tournaments.

Watch this space!

Oi! What are you suggesting?

We were all there, we all saw it... we know that you've made a damning pact with the dice gods and that your gaming soul is forever doomed. Judging by what I read about your recent khorne horde vs mechdar game it seems as though your evil overlords are at it again...

This will haunt me.

So I promised myself I would get an army together for this tournament this year and I've probably got about 1000points of marines sitting in my room at uni, but I haven't actually got enough money for the rest nor the inclination at the moment to start painting and converting those 1000pts. However, I'm due to be entering the world of the unemployed in 2 months, so you know what?

I'm in for next year, sorry guys. Although, I seriously am going to make it next year, like, try really really hard to make it.

Pretty sure i can loan you an army Razyus. I have several painted forces to pick from.

But a win using someone else's army has got to be a sullied victory!

Unless it's against the person who owns the army, in which case it counts double. ;)
