Well on page 56 of Codex: Space Marines, under the description of psychic hood in the wargear section at the bottom of the page the last sentence of the entry answers your question.

[mod]If something can be answered with a page reference and directions on where to look, that is all that needs be given.[/mod]

  • Ok so they can block within range, but is that any model that tryies to make a power work any numbers of times?
Does this mean they can make multiple blocks against multiple powers and multiple users per phase?

  • what do the rules say?  Are there any restrictions on how many times you can use the hood?  It isn't hard to figure out, read the codex and do what the words tell you, it is quite simple.

  • Ok, to be a little more specific: Last line of the entry on page 56 of Codex: Space Marines is what you're looking for.

No trick wording, RAW is RAI.  :)

There's no stopping what can't be stopped, no killing what can't be killed

You can't see the eyes of the demon until him come calling.

This is dread man, truly dread.

Is it legal (RAW) to throw sharp objects at my opponent?

Then it's his responsibility to know his own rules set, I'm afraid. Kudos to you for coming here but honestly, your opponent should read his Codex more closely.
