How would you paint an ork like this one?
« on: October 28, 2002, 10:42:44 AM »
Hi! I would like to know how to paint an ork like this one...

Here is the link is you can't see the picture... http://user.domaindlx.com/pickweb/warboss.gif

I really like his light green skin! How would you do it? Also, how would you do the metal parts so they look old and rusted like on the picture (look at the banner or the gun)?

Thanks a lot!

I suggest you check out the ork painting tips on page 21 of the Ork Codex.

Really, it tells you all you need to know in this case.

Yeah check the codex. You will although have to be a very very good painter to do that. It's a combination of drybrushing and highlighting for the skin I think. As for the armor rust look you can drybrush Tin Bitz onto the metal. That's what I do anyways and it looks quite good.

Well, that's what I would call a really helpful comment!  ::) Next time, think a little bit before posting. The community is just not the place for useless comments like this one.

Edit : Thanks AiR!  ;) That's a lot better!
