This thread is to introduce yourself to the community. Post should include a short introduction of yourself (given names are optional as this is a worldwide community and your privacy is respected), a list of your army and current projects. I'm Khemri, and I've pretty much always been into Orks. I got into the hobby just as the Armageddon campaign was coming to a close, many moons ago, and I was captivated by these noisy, dirty monsters that wanted to pummel anything that stood in their way. My Boyz took a long hiatus when I was solely playing Fantasy, but the new Codex brought me back into the fold and my Waaagh! has been gathering steam again since then.
Unfortunately, I'm an absurdly slow painter. So despite being a long-time collector, pretty much nothing is completed.

err... well I'm me. What else can I say? Started playing 40k in 3rd with the old Craftworld codex of Alaitioc, but eventually after eyeing multiple times a box of Boyz, and inadvertently challenged to change my approach to 40k (it was claimed that no one could win with Orks & many were angry and sick of playing against the pregame Sniper chart) I picked up the Orkz. Now I must admit I've strayed from time to time with the 3rd Edition Chaos, 3rd Edition Tau, and 4th (and 5th) Edition Nids (plus the aforementioned Eldar) Orkz just have that warm fluffy part in my heart are far and away the most fun I've had in the game.
A LESSON TO BE HEEDED!
In June 2010 I went on a trip to NorCal during which I played a game of Apoc in a friend's LGS. Sadly after the game I stepped out briefly for a telephone call and when I came back in to my dismay much of the Ork army I had brought was stolen. So word to the wise, don't leave your army unattended.

History: I’ve been playing orks since the last edition. I just got into 40k from Fantasy and I really liked the idea of vehicals, modifying vehicals, and having a lot of vehicals. Orks seems like the perfect army.
I created my own battle wagon and trucks and ran a speed freaks army. Then, to my delight, the orks got updated with a new codex and some new stuff… So I just kept on building, making sure that no two models were alike in my army… I’ll so you a picture when I figure out a way to post pictures on 40k online…
I play tournaments regularly and I’m pleased to say win with some frequency. I almost always win “best of show,” which makes me happy because I spend most f my time painting figures and very little playing them. I have two newborn twins at home so they take up a lot of my play time. I just sneak some painting in after they go to sleep at night!

History: I've been building, demolishing, converting, and rebuilding Orks since Gorkamorka. Not much of a hardcore player, or painter to be honest. I have dabbled with Tau and CSM's, but my first love is the Orks, and its them I keep coming back to. Infact more than a few Ork vehicles (and the occasional infantry model) has parts from other 40K armies.
My collection is rather small because I don't tend to spend large amounts of money on 40K models, and I only occasionally get around to completing started projects.
