1500pt Chaos-The Shifting Desert

5x Raptors - 120pts

Heavy Support - 450pts
3x Defilers

Basic Strategy - Raptors for anti armor and Defilers for supporting fire while Thousand Sons take point and pop targets of opportunity. Daemon Prince I guess is my counter charge and harassment.

Notes - I really wanted to include Terminators in this list as well as my other HQ, Chaos Lord Anubis. The Defilers must stay because they are converted to scorpions. I was going for the while desert theme for this army.

Not sold on the 5man Raptor squads...do you really need three of them?

Far better to take two, and give your 1ksons some Rhinos, as well as equipping your HQ with Warptime, making him 2x nastier (rerolls to wound with WoC, as well as rerolls to hit and wound in HtH.

At the very least your Rhinos can screen your Raptors, and they are good to give your 1ksons a leg up the field. They can still disembark and shoot 24"!
