Topic: Let's play Diablo II

Since everyone played Diablo II at some point, and people on these boards are part of subset everyone, clearly there must be people on these boards that played Diablo II at some point.

Anyways, I'm really beslubbering bored, have Diablo II and an internet connection.  Certainly there must be others!

Post and give me/us some contact info so we can get smashing rogues and amphetamine parrot.

Soz... Dog chewed my disk about 2 weeks ago... Pity really... I kicked ass at Diablo 2... Had 3 lvl 99 chars and tons of hacked equipment that did insane things to peoples health (2000 poison damage over 2 seconds! w00t!  )....

By god, me and my friends have just started to think the same thing. I have to find my disc and install it, but Play it I can (as long as my school work doesn't get in the way). Do you want basic or expansion?

Expansion probably, but doesn't really matter that much to me.

I'll be installing the expansion as long as I can find it, I'll probably go necromancer as none of my friends have chosen him, and the curses could help us.

uhhh... The Diablo 2 virus...

Last time I played that I gained 10 pounds and my skin tone turned to bleached bone. I don't know if I should start that again or I would have to drop out of University. It's that same reason I never ever bought World of Warcraft, that stuff is crack cocaine for nerds I tell ya

I never really did get into WoW, but I'm in a Video game Design college so playing Diablo could be like research  .

I'll play once I can steal the game off a friend.  Used to have a 81 Poison/Bone Necro with at least +21 to my P/B Skills.  Teeth did an average of 5000 with Synergy

You'd probably pay ~20 quid for it, if Britain is like America and the only way to get it in most stores is in a big ole box with Diablo, the Diablo 2 Expansion, and some other crap.

And it's pretty easy to figure out.  You know, click the thing you want dead, click the healy item to heal, that sort of amphetamine parrot.

Wow i just wanted to get back into the game anyway. I have played it years ago via the battlenet for endless hours, then forgot about it... until recently a friend of mine hooked me again (that bastard lol). I will only wait a couple of days till i finally get broadband baby. I dont want to know how many times i died because of a lag amd i want to start profi characters (the ones that are gone when you die. My favourite right now is the tornado stormer druid, followed by the sorc.

Man, Diablo II.  that was fun.  An old roomate of mine had it on his computer and i played it all the time.  I was a level one zillion necromancer with one of those really rare weapons.  Some sort of maul of ultimate destruction.  I would summon a ton of skelies and skeletal mages and roast things with spells and brawl with my maul .

I had so much crap though and my primary gear was so good that I got to not saving when I died and instead, donning my secondary equipment (which was almost as good and different) and then going out and finding my dead body to get all my crap back.  One time I sort of forgot what I was doing and got killed with my secondary gear before I got back to my dead body that had all my best amphetamine parrot.  therefore I lost it all.  I was trying to like reload the computer from a previous back up point and this and that.  all to no avail.  that was about the end of it for me though.
awfully tempted to go out and get it again.

If I do, would you guys all have uber characters?  because I would be starting from scratch.  Also, I never played live so I'd probably get trounced.

Its alright! Even if you are a n00b at Diablo 2 it only takes 1/2 hour to give your dude 50000HP and enough uber weapons to level a city!

There are that many uber-weapons floating around on the net, you tend to get pity-gear of the higher level chars anyway
