Title: Meet the Barracuda AX-5-2
Post by: The GrimSqueaker on July 22, 2016, 12:29:19 PM
TAU BARRACUDA AX-5-2 | Forge World Webstore (https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-US/Tau-Barracuda-AX-5-2)

Look at that lovely piece of war machine. I've not been a fan of the flyers in the past two codex, the shapes didn't work for me, so going back to the basics of the Barracuda is pleasing.

Preliminary rules, open to change, you know the drill.

WOW. That is a nice little fighter. Pricey, but quite nice.

Upgrading to Ion cannon and Cyclic Ion blasters would be very, very tempting. 11 Autocannon shots, some with Ignores Cover? Yes please.

Auto-targeting sounds a little dirty but fun.

The variety of weapon loadout is a plus when it comes to planning against an exact opponent. Be it armour, swarm, or mixture.

True. If you're going to spend on a Forgeworld model, you may as well magnetize.
