I've read the books. The Methuselahs lack any form of grace or culture that the Eldar carry. They're humans that have lived too long and too well till their humanity has slipped far behind. A bunch of rich rather unsavoury chap, what-ho old bean?s, basically. Even Eldar deserve better than that comparison.  ;)

I'm a big fan of the books, I hadn't realized there was a netflix show. I'll have to give it a watch!

By Pre-fall Eldar, I meant just prior when everything was turning to crud, the shedding of decency, the superiority complex, body modifications, gladiatorial combat for entertainment, sure Eldar get re-incarnated but body swapping is fair close :)
