OK one foot done, and plating the other, but just showing the update pics of the foot with the wider leg.

I replaced the legs on the body to see the outcome, so far quite pleased with the result.

Looking pretty good so far, good construction work all around.

How strong is it structuraly? I know Foamboard is quite tough, but can be bent.
Hai i'm Jipponish pleased to meat you.

Sorry but foam board is no good for bending, all bent parts that are required i have made from 1mm thick card. and for the strength, due to the internal skeleton the model is extremely strong. Once the Foam card is glued together it very strong.

thanks for the comments

No, I realise you shouldn't bend it, i'm just saying that it can be bent, i.e if somebody accidentily lent on it or something, I was just wondering how much it could withstand. But if the internal skeleton is strong, there shouldn't be a problem.

Its not bending  that I have to worry about its the possibility of being dented. Foam card does dent easy. thats why the Armour Plates will be a minium of 2mm thick.

Sorry Haven't post more updates lately been in hospital, been told to take it easy so, just been doing little bits.

Started to paint legs before front armour leg shield goes on, added a few tubes to the weapons and started construction of top laz guns.

The paint job on my Titan will be a camo job, so using Army green for legs.

OK Just a quick update, haven't been doing much due to hospital, but this week end I have made the leg sheilds.

They look a little fat but that the way I took the photo, sorry.

I have to admit that I was a bit sceptical when you started the thread. The titan skeleton seemed to be a bit too slim.

I am glad I was wrong about your project.

The leg armour looks great. I hope you will be able to work on it despite being at hospital,  although one's personal health is the most important thing, of course.

Just a quickie,

Well it had to come, I have boobed, I have made the shield guards about 11/2 to short, but that can be mended later, any way this is what it looks like with the shield Guards on.
These have been made from : 5mm foam board/ 10mm foam board the 2mm backing card for armour plate.

Love it. Great stuff! It's cool to see one of these actually being made!

I have to admit, I thought the legs looked a little thin too, but the shin guards are a work of art. They make it look just as it is supposed to. Wonderful job! Definately keeping my eye on this one.

Havent done much this week end, just been putting some armour plates on the body and doing a camoflage design, the plates are made from 2mm black backing card.

Camoflage? On a Warlord battle titan!?!?! That thing is as tall as a small mountain, and you want to camoflage it? It already sticks out like a sore thumb, you won't be able to hide it...ever.

But then again, not my warlord.

Raktra, you mean to tell me there are model trees that large used in a model miniatures wargame? Or on every planet across the Imperium :P. Be reasonable. The Mechanicum don't make such big ass machines to try to hide them, they build them to strike fear and kill people.

I like this a lot but from my perspective it looks a little too static, although i respect i would never be able to do this.
