« on: August 17, 2007, 07:58:16 PM »
i wanna start using spore mines but reading has gotten me confused

codex: the only reference to what blast marker they do when they explode just says blast marker, but doesnt say for which type of spore mine

battle of macragge: one uses flamer template, one uses small and one uses large

i have no idea what to use

From what I understand, the codex states that you use the small blast marker when ALL types spore mines explode.

The multiple templates were used with the prior edition of the Tyranid Codex, as mention before small blast templates are used for all types.

For future reference, any reference to using the 'blast template' refers to the small blast. If it means the large blast template, it will say either 'large'' or 'ordnance' blast template.
Also, 'Template' means the flamer template.
