Title: Dal'yth Cityfight Army
Post by: Master Archon on August 18, 2002, 11:59:19 PM
Hey what do you guys think of my army.  It is going to be based of of Mark Owen's army featured on pg.1 of the codex.  Here it is:

Headquarters
Shas'el w/ Plasma Rifle, Missile Pod, Multi-tracker     85

Elites
XV8 'Crisis' Battlesuit Team
Shas'ui (3) w/ Plasma Rifles, Burst Cannons, Multi-trackers     183

Troops
Fire Warrior Team (12) Bonded     130
Devilfish     80

Fire Warrior Team (12) Bonded     130
Devilfish     80

Fast Attack
Pathfinder Team
Shas'la (5) Bonded     70
Devilfish     80

Heavy Support
Hammerhead w/ Railgun, Burst Cannons, Multi-tracker     160

Total Points: 998

I think that this is going to be a cool force tallying up with an enormous 75 Str.5 AP 5 Shots to bear each turn (if all in range and sight), 1 Railgun, 3 Plasma Rifles, 1 Missile Pod, and 5 Markerlights to help any squad that is needed.  Give me your opinions.

P.S with the change of the army list I will also be changing my name (Farewell Fellow Fal'shian's) to Shas'el Dal'yth Or'es Mont'ka.

Something that would be really useful in a cityfight would be seeker missiles, as they don't require line of sight and they have unlimited range, Too bad you only have room for 2 more points.
All in all, a good force for cityfight.
