Predator Tank bits
« on: December 5, 2010, 09:59:59 AM »
Okay I'm sure this has been answered somewhere else before, but I curious where i could find extra turrent and sponson bits for my predator tank, Its rather annoying that i can only have one glued turrent without buying an completely extra tank, does anyone know if there are any websites where I can just  buy the turrents and the sponsoons, i have looked online a little bit but haven been able to find any, am I on the short bus???

turret*

There are many bit sites on the web. Ebay is always a good place to check as well as www.thewarstore.com (look under games workshop and battle wagon bits). Those are my preferred places for the U.S.

just search for warhammer 40k bits, you'll find a plethora of websites catering to our specific needs.  What a lot of people do, and what I'm planning when I put together my next predator, is to magnetize the turret and sponsons so I can switch them out.  A little drilling and forward planning is all that's necessary.  One turret, two cannon choices, and cheaper than buying two tanks or buying the extra bits.

Here you go, tutorials for magnetizing your predator:

and this last is actually a B&C thread listing several different tutorials

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.  - George Carlin
