FIrst of all, hello everybody. A few of the vets may remember me, I've been a part of Grim's IG since the EZBoard days. My computer has been dead for a long time though and living in hicksville southern illinois, I had no access to the internet. I now have an all new comp, so I am back! Hoorah!

After an almost equally long time without playing 40k, I recently got the time to get back into it and so came up with a new list. I'm going for a quality over quantity list with this one.

Lookin' good, just one suggestion. I know of close combat guard armies, but have never seen normal Guardsmen perform well in cc. If you really want those normal guard squads to be cc oriented, I would drop the heavy weapons. Good use of Doctrines, too.

 I was thinking of shooting as much as I could before the enemy got close then bumrushing him with all those flamers. Hmm, I might switch out a lot of those ST meltas for plasmas to get some more range. Hopefully if my opponent advances I'll be able to whittle him down to where I can take him in combat, and if he sits back, then this kinda functions well as a static shooty army. Hmm, I need to try this out over the weekend.
