Oregon Players

I live in Salem, Oregon and go to Borderlands for all my Games Workshop needs. Anyone else in Oregon play 40k?

Hello Seth.  I live in Vancouver, WA just North of Portland, oregon.  I am a member of a local gaming community that serves the entire Pacific Northwest, Ordo Fanaticus.  You should check us out, we are a grat resource for finding opponents.

Also, we have a huge 40K tournament coming 8-6-2005 if you're interested.  Take it easy!

Thanks for the offer but I won't be able to make it. By the way, were any of the Ordo Fanaticus at the Borderlands Tournament July 30th?

Oh yeah, my buddies Fatman, Pejitei and ShaneSharp (their Ordo screennames) were there.  I wanted to go, but I've been planning our big DS2K5 tournament.  I'm sorry you can't make it, but check out Ordo anyway.  Our 40K community is growing very quickly, and our Warhammer community is very strong.  I hope to see you there soon, take it EZ

Well it's taking place on Sat. 29th of July at Borderlands Games in Salem. Most of the info can be found here: http://www.borderlandsgames.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=246 .

The entry fee is the purchase of one GW item of 10$ or more. The prize is not a trophy unfortunately, but rather based off of how much you spend.

1st receives the amount of their entry fee in credit
2nd receives 75% of their fee
3rd receives 50% of their fee

Awards also go to Best General (based on battles) and Best Painted with the prize being 25% of their entry fee.

I you have any other questions just ask.

What points level is it at?  is there a required % of army painted?  what time does it start?

It starts at 9:30 am and it is 1850 pts. There is no requirement for painted armies; you just receive more points if they are painted.
