What psychic disciplines would you take for tervigon if he decides to swap his powers?

Depends how many powers you've bought, to an extent.

Biomancy is a good staple for all tyranids, I think - ranged AP2 power is thin on the ground so Smite is a good default, and there are some real gems in the deck there; Warp Speed and Iron Arm both make the normally second-rate tervigon truly scary up close and personal.

That said, Catalyst is still awesome, so don't rush to bin it!

I think I am going to be investing on buying both psychic powers for my Tervigon so I can get 3 rolls on the table. It was very nice it my last game.
Ziltoid is so omniscient, if there were to be two omnisciences, he would be both!

After the performance of my Zoanthropes last night, I'm suddenly inspired to say "Telekinisis".

If you think Zoans with the potential to blink around the field are scary, consider what happens if a Tervigon starts doing it! (gate of Infinity: Consult your doctor before using)

I am also inclinded to say Telekineses actually, without having any experience with it. I will try it this week though. What I'm thinking is that teleporting a scoring Tervigon around would be quite awesome and quite hard to counter. Since you spawn termagants before you move, I think that prevents you from teleporting and then spawning. But still, you could spawn next turn, it is still scoring, and it is still a big scary monster with template shooting attacks.

The other telekinesis powers are not too bad either. The dome is not too different from catalyst. 5+ invoulnerable can sometimes be better like for gaunts vs scatter lasers. Crush is not bad either for taking out tanks or trying to snipe characters and malediction haywire attack can be very useful, especially since it auto-hits flyers.

I saw a car with the license plate ARW 357! Can you imagine? Of all the license plates in the state, what was the chance that i would see that particular one tonight? Amazing!" - Quote from Richard Feynman (physicist)

Hmmm...
Good call on that one.

Shame it's not one we can be confident of getting.
