Title: Are Daemon Princes still good?
Post by: Brash on November 9, 2017, 04:35:57 PM
So in the last few games I have played of 8th edition I have found my daemon prince has not been nearly as effective as he was for me in 7th. The mortal wounds have really been hurting him and I am at a lose as of what to do. Does anyone have any tactics they have found worked well with them. Or should i invest the points in something else?

Daemon Princes were one of the most broken things in 7th, you are not going to get the same level of silliness out of them in 8th.

They are quite good. Gotta keep him safe behind screening units, until you can warptime him into a juicy unit. Pretty cheap for what they can do.

Yeah warp time would have definitely helped me out last game.

I find them still to be quite good, when I've fielded one it usually does pretty well
