Harlequin 500pt escalation
« on: March 13, 2015, 05:45:30 PM »
ok here we go..in a group doing 500pt escalation final pt tally will be 1850
I chose the new harlequins

troupe 4+master=5
  2 harlequin kiss's
  2 harlequin caress's
  1 fusion pistol
  3 shuriken pistol
troupe master
  the storied sword
starweaver for dedicated transport

shadowseer
  mastery level 2
  neuro dusruptor
  the mask of secrets

solitaire
  cegorach's rose

total pts 501

the idea is the shadowseer joins the troop to fill out max transport of the starweaver and have the solitaire deep strike later
have the troupe master as my warlord and this is where it gets..difficult I don't know which of the 3 warlord trait sets to choose from.

any sugestions on the list in general and on the warlords trait list to use

I would try this battleforged set up at 500:

Cast of Players
Troupe, 5xEmbrace
Shadowseer
Death Jester

Cast of Players
Troupe, 5xCaress
Shadowseer
Death Jester

Gives you 5 points to play with for Haywire or the Enigma Pistol on someone.

I don't think the Solitaire is worth losing Battle Forged for. Besides, he either sweeps the entire opposing army, or dies horribly in one round of rapid fire.  Could go either way.  Plus these units are really rather good.  I think Cegorach's Rose and the Storied Sword are a lot of points in 500.

In any case, I would skip the neuro disruptor on the Seer, because he should always be firing his hallucinogen grenade launcher.  That thing is so awesome.
