World Questions
« on: June 25, 2002, 12:12:46 PM »
I was just pondering some stuff like I typically do, when it occured to me that we are a global community, so I'd figure I'd ask some questions.

1. What country do you live in?
2. Which way does the water swirl in your toilet?
3. Does the Moon change color on the Full Moon where you live?
4. What do you think of your current leader?
5. What does your ideal girlfriend [or boyfriend] look like? [Hair color, face, body, ect]
6. Look outside. What's the first animal you see?
7. How do you typically cook your food?
8. What's your idea of "Fresh Air"?
9. Who's the first Famous Person that comes to mind?
10. What do you think your Country's Motto is?
11. Preferred mode of Transportation?
12. What did you have for Breakfast?

1 Yu Ess Aye
2 Clockwise NOT
3 When there is a solar eclipse (the earth eclipses the sun, so only the lower-frequency longer-wavelength colors of the spectrum like red and orange can hit the sun. That's why it changes color)?
4 Ahhhh the Bush. Where should I start? He's the b!tch of the oil and pharmecuitical companies, doing whatever they tell him to. In matters in the mideast, he takes the opposite stance of Clinton, without thinking. Since Clinton tried to negotiate with Arafat, Bush wants to ignore him. Since Clinton tried to negotiate peace, and at least attempted to stall hostilities (and at least kept them to a lower rate), Bush refused to get involved, allowing things to go to hell. Of course, I wouldn't have liked Gore better.
5 They can understand me when I go off on one of my science rants (dead serious here. They are the reason I have no friends, and so must come to the board each day to seek companionship).

11 Biking.

1. What country do you live in?
Finland, "the land of a thousand lakes"

2. Which way does the water swirl in your toilet?
Don't really care...

3. Does the Moon change color on the Full Moon where you live?
No, don't think so.

4. What do you think of your current leader?
OK, I guess (better than G.W.Stupid, also known as George Bush the second. I'm glad I don't live in the US'o'A (no offense!)).

5. What does your ideal girlfriend look like?
Like this certain girl I knew... *sigh*

6. Look outside. What's the first animal you see?
Our dogs in the yard, barking at the neighbours.

7. How do you typically cook your food?
Depends... grill it, fry it, cook it; as long as it's edible (and tastes good...)

8. What's your idea of "Fresh Air"?
Just like after a f***in' big thunderstorm, when the air is all pure and clean.

9. Who's the first Famous Person that comes to mind?
Jon Schaffer, the guitarist and founder of "Iced Earth"

10. What do you think your Country's Motto is?
"Smaller, better". That's actually the motto of my township. My personal motto (one of my many) is "Live your life the way you want it, there is more than one dream. Live your life the way you want it, there is more than one truth."

11. Preferred mode of Transportation?
By foot. Or, if the distance needed to be negociated is on the longer side, I don't know... being on water is always fun, so any form of boat is fascinating.

12. What did you have for Breakfast?
Nothing, I was in a hurry...
...Child of the wicked and of ancient man
Baptized in black magic, their master plan
Born of the Watch, his prophecy, by their command

So, behold the birth, the wicked child
Born of the Beast, in eastern sands
He will arise, He will divide
He has the power to bring the end...

--Iced Earth, 'Birth Of The Wicked'

C'mon people! add to this thread! it rocks! don't let it dissapear into the tortured depths of locked threads?
We see the coming of pain in the deep blue depths of probability. We turn the tides that sweep away the marks from the sands of time. We are the Grey. We stand between the candle, and the star. We stand between the darkness, and the light. We are the guardians of that island of hope, amidst the storm that comes, that heralds the end of eternity.
