1700 pt emperors children

Hey all, i just got done a tournament in which i got 2 wins a draw and a loss with my emperors children. I have been reworking my list and i would like to know what you guys think of this new list for tournament play. I put in the rhino with warp amp and drop pod mostly so that i could showcase my modelling/painting ability. Here it is:

I like it, but have a couple comments

Why does your demon prince have a great weapon? why not a good weapon?

plus isn't the great weapon 2 handed?

I like all the troops, but I think your infiltrating squad should have ccw and bolt pistols, since tanks won't be harmed by the sonic blasters and the extra attck will be useful if you're charged

Very good points. I will definately switch the infiltrators to having ccw and bolt pistols. You may be right about the great weapon. The only reason i gave him a great weapon is b/c it increases strength by one. Does anyone know if monsterous creatures can ignore the 2 handed weapon rules?

Anyone else see any faults?

If you give the DP two ccw and D Strength, it will have the same strength but with one more attack then your current DP.

You might want to rethink the spawn in the first squad. They aren't as useful in 4th ed now that all armies must use the mixed stat rules. All the CSMs must take a hit before the spawn can take a hit. If you want to boost your squad numbers, chaos hounds work a little better, since you don't have to divide the until you get to armor saves.

It might be useful to split the daemonettes into two squads of six. That way they could be summoned to two different areas of the board if need be.
