Tactics :
Deep strike everyone that can for assaulting duties, the sorcerer warp times a raptor squad to guarantee success. Diabolical strength on the chaos lord or sorcerer at all times or smite when needed.
The havocs and chaos lord on foot support from the back field causing more casualties for morale.
Possessed and heldrakes charge up the field to engage ASAP and cultists run towards objectives away from my deployment zone (or just too far for the havocs to reach)
Warlord trait will be the terror one obviously to force higher quantities of failed morale checks.

Any reason why you gave the raptors mark of nurgle?
EDIT: Nevermind....saw the icon of despair.

Lost with this list vs Imperial Guard while fighting over THE RELIC. The legion trait rarely kicked in due to commissars shutting it down handedly. I believe Night Lords may do better against smaller elite armies that don't circumvent morale as easily.
Lessons learned.
-The heldrakes are great for engaging but do very little damage.
-a chaos lord cannot easily take care of a commissar and a company ommander at the same time when striking them with claws of the black hunt.
-commissars will basically completely counter the night lords legion trait.
-possessed do an overwhelming amount of damage but move horribly slow for an elite unit that you want engaged in combat ASAP.
-havocs are a winning element in any chaos list, consistently perform very well
-raptors are actually pretty good at engaging and sticking around a few rounds
-death to the false emperor is awesome!
-chaos boon table is not really worth it if you land results that do nothing for your character
-in midnight clad is the GO TO stratagem
