It all looks fantastic! Kinda jealous about the terrain. Keep it coming. 8)

I don't not what to say to be honest. The quality of your work is just outstanding and everything looks fantastic.

In particlar your Hunter and spooky terrain appeal to me in a way that can't be put into words.

Lovely work Blom. I really liked the green/yellow colour scheme...but when I saw it on the Hunter? Wow. It works so well and you've executed it to perfection.

I like the work on Asurmen too. It's such an old school approach to colours, meshed with a modern, more moody vibe. He's looking great so far.

Hallo gang

@magenb I removed asurmens head (the original head was sooo big) and used one from an exarch instead. That resulted in that the sword now looks really tall (the old head made the sword look more in scale). And my Necrons have pink weapons:)

I am finished with Asurmen!

Some older stuff
Converted Autarch

Hawks

Wow! Everything you show us is just ridiculously sublime. Your Asurmen has left me more gob smacked than usual as it is simply beautiful, and the base is beyond words.

Stunning work Blom.

That Asurmen is terrific. I think the head swap is a very good move (not a fan of the original sculpt). The one thing the head swap does though, is accentuate just how bloody massive Asurmen's shoulder pads are! He looks like he stepped off the set of Dallas or Dynasty or something!

The painting, though, is excellent. You've really nailed the colour scheme and the end result is a very worthy figurehead for your forces.

Of the other stuff, I'm a little bit in love with the Swooping Hawks. I've always been a big fan of them and you colours complement them really well. I'm a particular fan of the wing feathers. Touches like that really allow a model to shine.

Great work Blom. Keep it up bud!

Helo gang

long time no posting. Sorry, I find it more fun to paint than to document my work. Anyway, here is some stuff that i  have been up to:

Dire Avenger boss

Twin catapult to one of my tanks (I have found that in 9 everything is so much closer so i really do not need to upgrade to a canon)

Pictures from some games (been gaming a lot by my standard this past weeks (like 1 game every week). I was supposed to go to a small tournament this weekend, sadly I am ill so I could not go:(

WIP of more terrain. I have found that I really enjoy painting terrain

WIP of a new fire dragon + finished the base of the other one

The demon prince got a sword. Too much over the top or ok?

Blom

Absolutely beautiful, Blom! Do you do all of that work by brush? If so that's crazy dedication and great execution.

Love it, keep it up!

Halo gang

Thanks for the kind words

@Myen'Tal: Everthing is painted by brusch. It takes some time but I am in no hurry

@magenb: The floor tile is actually moment trays from warhammer fantasy

@ Everybody: Way back in 5 ed I wanted to start an ork army with nobs, gitz, kanz, grots and battlewagons. I sadly never finished the army (but it is never too late!). Here are some photos of the stuff that I manage to paint

Kan

Nobs

Gitz (this was before they got there own models)

Grots

love the names :)

Fantastic work, its not often you see greenskins done to that level, just too many of them to get through lol.

What did you use for the dead straw/grass effect?

Ya know, this is very inspirational. I just got the models for a kill team so maybe, just maybe I'll get after mine. Nice work on yours and love the names. I may use the generator for some of mine.

Thanks for the kind words

Long time no post

@magenb: The grass effect is from the forest... It is a thing called beard lichen that I have harvested and cut up into tiny pieces and then glued to my toy soldiers base.

Update time:

I finished the demon prince

I finished the terrain

I finished the fire dragon

I finished some dudes for my chaos kill team

I started a small beast of chaos team for Mordheim

I am slowly rebasing my necron army

Necron boss

WIP of Necron flyer

so much nice work there.

Corona, got to get ride of him asap ;)

I dig the mix of parts on the kill team and that's a nice colour scheme on the necrons,

Wow your terrain is absolutely stunning. Do you protect the surface in anyway. It would be a real shame to chip any of the paint.

Your Necron paint scheme is astounding.
