Ok so im back to tau after a long break.
I would like comments on my prospective forge world heavy list please.
HQ Commander O'Ralai including 2 marker drones
ELI 6 Stealth suits
FAS 4 Tetras, 3x target lock
FAS 2 XV9's twin linked burst cannons, 1x target lock, 1x drone controller, 2 shield drones
FAS 8 Pathfinders, 3x rail rifles, ui, bonded, devilfish, disruption pod, 2x seekers
TRP 8 firewarriors, ui, bonded, pulse carbines
TRP 8 firewarriors, ui, bonded
TRP 8 firewarriors, ui, bonded
HVY 2x Broadsides, 1x target lock, 1x drone controller, 2x shield drones, ASS
HVY 4x drone sentry turrets, 4x missile pods, 4x disruption pods
Ok so heavy A.T. is dealt with by O'reilly and the broadsides, massed marker lights (11) reduce cover and lower pinning morale whilst the rail rifles and carbine sqd in devilfish try to cause pinning tests. The stealths and XV9's lay down lots of burst cannon fire, and the missile turrets knock out trannies.
So thoughts please dudes :)

Why are you bonding the fire warriors/pathfinders?
Thats essentially 15 wasted points
I suggest removing their Bonds and using those points to get 5 more warriors

Bonding is very useful is this type of list which would be foot based a fair amount of time.
Personally i think its an ok list.
I would combine the stealth to save the KP and so more shots can benefit from 1 markerlight.
personally i would lose the turrets and replace them with regular suits. The turrets are nice but do the same static as a suit does mobile. Basic XV-8's with TL-MP, flamer would be good.
I think the broadsides should have ASS. add a team leader and you can still have drones and lock.
Now this is a odd suggestion given the marker light theme but i truely think the pathfinders dont fit. the lone devilfish will soak all the AT fire. It gives a static element to a lovely mobile list. Also such an easy target to take out.
Consider swapping these out for a second squad of XV-9's with perhaps twin phased pulse submuntions. brutal and difficult to use, but very very lethal.

Bonding just lets you regroup squads that are below half strength
This means that on an 8 man squad, it lets you regroup them when there are 3 guys left

Which as they will be on foot and susceptible to fire is a good thing. It means that they will be able to wither fire, run and then potentially regroup.

Besides Tarrins point it also means you'll be keeping a scoring unit on the table for the enemy to worry about ;)

Cheers Tarrin, the point on the pathfinders/devilfish is good, i will look at removing them.
The turrets are cheap cheap said the budgie for a av12 bunker, which makes them durable and annoying, plus i just love em.
The stealth teams combined is also a good idea, and so will be done.
XV9's with PIGS are a nasty unit and i originally planned to have one, two would be great.
Bonding is not negotiable for me, i need my fire warriors to stay on table, even if its 1 bloke, he still scores.
